HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION NO.5418 of 2015 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not taking any action on the representation of the 1st petitioner dated 7.2.2015 u/s.636 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 as illegal and arbitrary.
When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the representation is not yet disposed of. Learned counsel appearing for the official respondents submits that notice is given to unofficial respondents 5 and 6 under Section 452 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act and that no action has been taken till now.
Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned standing counsel appearing for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation submits that the representation of the 1st petitioner dated 7.2.2015 will be disposed of, in accordance with law.
In view of the submissions made by the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation to the Deputy Commissioner, Circle No.20, Municipal Administration Department, and if such a representation is made by the petitioners, the Deputy Commissioner is directed to consider the same and pass
appropriate orders thereon, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation from the petitioners. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________________ KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI, J Date: 29/11/2018 lkv
