This petition is filed to quash the F.I.R.No.31 of 2011 registered against the petitioner on the file of Badvel (U) Police Station, Budevel, for the offence under Section 3(i)(x) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the copy of the proceedings in Rc.No.21/C3/SC-ST/2011 dated 11.03.2011 issued by Superintendent of Police Y.S. R. Kadapa District, permitting the Sub Divisional Police Officer, Mydukur, to refer the case as 'false' one. Taking note of the above mentioned proceedings, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous.
