2. Petitioner is an Association of Managements of Private College of Education. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the individual institutions, who are members of this Association, have requested the members to approve the spot admissions made in Category-B, for the academic year 2014-15, the same is not being considered and appropriate orders are not being passed by respondent No.1.
3. Mr. Sudesh Anand, learned standing counsel for respondent No.1, on instructions, submits that all such institutions, who have applied before the
cutoff date viz., 30.11.2014 and whose requests for approval of spot admission is received, are being considered and after verification appropriate orders will be passed expeditiously.
4. Dr.P.B.Vijay Kumar, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2, however, submits that no grievance against respondent No.2 is made out in the present writ petition.
5. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.1 to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, on the individual applications received from the members of the petitioner-Association for approval of spot admission and pass appropriate orders thereon expeditiously. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
