ORDER

This writ petition is instituted praying to declare the action of respondents in not considering the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Depot Clerk/Controller as per the seniority list, as illegal, arbitrary and unjust.

2. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the petitioner was promoted as Assistant Depot Clerk on 18.03.2011 and thereafter, he was further promoted as Depot Clerk on 30.04.2013 and presently working, in the cadre of Traveling Ticket Inspector, as Regional Inspector (Squad).

3. Having regard to the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
