HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.7139 OF 2003 ORDER:
This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent Corporation in not paying the salaries to the petitioners for the last so many years, as illegal and arbitrary.
The respondent Corporation filed counter and the gist of the same is that since the respondent Corporation is not receiving funds from the Government it is unable to pay the salaries to the petitioners. This Court on 13.08.2003 passed interim order in WP.MP.No.16199 of 2003, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to pay salaries to the petitioners and also directed that if the Corporation is not able to pay the salaries within eight weeks from the date of receipt of the order, it is for the Corporation to approach the Government to get necessary funds and see that the salaries are paid to the petitioners and further directed that if any representation is made by the Corporation, the Government shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within eight weeks thereon.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Corporation produced a letter dated 05.10.2015, wherein it is stated that salaries are paid to the staff upto date without pendency and dues in respect of petitioners' salaries have also been paid. Recording the contentions in the aforesaid letter dated 05.10.2015,
produced by the learned Counsel for respondent Corporation, and in view of the interim order dated 13.08.2003 passed by this Court in WP.MP.NO.16199 of 2003, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, in the writ petition shall stand closed.
