THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.38276 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to quash the FIR No.606 of 2016. Heard and perused the material available on record. The case of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent has lodged the present complaint alleging that on 27.07.2016 at about 12.30 hours, the 4th respondent got treatment at the petitioner's hospital for stomach pain. When he dosed the medicines prescribed by the petitioner, he got itching on whole body and severe pain in the body, mouth started burning and again on 28.07.2016, at 00.00 hours, when the 4th respondent met the petitioner, he did not care him and on his repeated asking, the petitioner abused the 4th respondent in the name of his caste.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent may arrest him and in such an event, his profession, carrier and reputation coupled with his business will be adversely affected. Considering the grievance of the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the investigation in FIR No.606 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with one surety to the satisfaction of the 3rd respondent as surety for his future appearance as and when required for the purpose of investigation.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ RAJA ELANGO,J Date: 8th November, 2016 KL
