This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "It is prayed that this Honourable Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2013 requesting the respondents to provide free agricultural service connections Nos.IE 236 and 751 in Thondalvai Village, Narketpalli Mandal, Nalgonda District."

Supply of free power to agriculturists is a question of policy and also is governed by the relevant tariff notifications issued by the Telangana Electricity Regulatory Commission from time to time. Omni bus relief of this nature cannot be granted in the writ petition as it is within the exclusive domain of the Commission constituted under the Electricity Act, 2003. However, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the relief claimed by the petitioner also stands granted to the petitioner.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
