THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.4858 of 2005 ORDER :
The petitioner instituted this writ petition assailing the orders issued by the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P., Hyderabad, on 01.10.2003 appointing the following persons as Coordinator-cum-protector on temporary and honorary basis i.e., Nawab Mohd. Mohiuddin Khan and Mohd. Sadiq Shareef. These appointments were made to protect the lands from encroachment treating the properties in issue as under the control of Court of Wards. 2. During pendency of the writ petition, vide memo No.37293/JA.(1) (92-37) dated 19.02.2008, Government clarified that the lands in Survey No.194/1 to 194/12 at Begumpet Village, Rangareddy District, stands released in favour of the legal heirs of one Smt Vicar-Ul-Umra in terms of the orders already issued by the Government on 22.04.1998. As a consequence the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, vide his proceedings dated 17.06.2008 stated that the Coordinator-cum-protector has no authority to act on behalf of Court of Wards as the above property stood released.
3. In view of the above orders of the Government and the consequential orders of the CCLA, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
4. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
