This Criminal Petition is filed under Sections 437 and 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short "Cr.P.C") seeking regular bail to the petitioner/Accused No.2 in Crime.No.196 of 2023 on the file of Wardhanapet Police Station, Warangal District, registered for the offence under Section 304-part II of IPC and Section 3 r/w. 180 and 181 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. 2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State and perused the record.

The case against the petitioner is that he is the owner of the lorry bearing No.RJ-09-GD-7208. The said vehicle was given to A-1 who is a Driver. A-1 while driving the said lorry made a head on collision with an Auto on 16.08.2023 resulting in the death of six passengers. For the reason of petitioner being the owner of the said lorry and giving the said lorry to A-1, who did not have license to drive, the petitioner was arrested. 4.
Since major part of the investigation is complete and as this petitioner was not the person who was driving the vehicle, the
prayer of regular bail can be considered, subject to following conditions:- i) The petitioner/Accused No.2 shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only) with two sureties, for a like sum each to the satisfaction of II Additional Sessions Judge, Warangal. ii) The petitioner/Accused No.2 after release shall appear before the concerned Station House Officer, on every Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., for a period of four weeks for the purpose of investigation and thereafter, as and when required.
iii) The petitioner/Accused No.2 shall abide by the other conditions stipulated under Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C. 5.
Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is allowed.
Miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
