Chodavaram Sugar Factory Workers Union, v. The Chodavaram Cooperative Sugars Ltd.,

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.21937 of 2005 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed by the Chodavaram Sugar Factory Workers Union, Visakhapatnam and one of its members seeking payment of bonus/ex-gratia in respect of the financial year 2004-2005 with a declaration that various Government Orders named in the prayer were not applicable to the Chodavaram Co-operative Sugars Limited, Visakhapatnam.

By order dated 08.11.2006, this Court directed the Chodavaram Co-operative Sugars Limited, Visakhapatnam, to pay statutory bonus as per eligibility to the members of the petitioner-Union.

Sri P.Roy Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, states that in the light of the interim order, the main prayer in the writ petition has worked itself out and no further orders are required to be passed.

Recording the said statement, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
