Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 2.

Petitioner claims that he succeeded to the property to an extent of Ac.2-17 guntas in Sy.No.36/1 of Erlapally Village, Chevella Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. He claims that his name has to be mutated in the revenue records and inspite of making several representations, his name is not mutated in the revenue records, causing hardship to the petitioner.

On perusal of the material on record, it is seen that petitioner has not made application as required by the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 ( for short 'the Act 1971') and the Rules made thereunder, but instead made a representation. Unless an application is made in Form VI-A through online web portal, it cannot be said that the respondent authorities are negligent in acting upon the request of petitioner. 4.

Thus, granting liberty to the petitioner to make an application as required by the Act, 1971, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Not withstanding the dismissal of writ petition, if application is made by the petitioner in prescribed form, the same shall be disposed of within six weeks from the date of submission of such application. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
