HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.12586 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondent in insisting for latest caste certificate for promotion to the post of Line Inspector as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the judgment reported in 1997(7) SCC 505 and 1996 (1) Andhra Weekly Reporter, 381 and consequently direct the respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Line Inspector. Advocate for petitioner represented in view of interim direction granted by this Court, case of the petitioner was already considered for promotion and that no further orders are necessary. Considering the submission of advocate for petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of interim orders dated 30-06-2003. No costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
