HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 13926 OF 2005 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner is challenging the proceedings dated 22.6.2005 wherein the petitioner was asked to look after the day to day correspondence of sub-divisional office. This Court, vide order dated 11-7-2005 granted interim directions directing the respondents to release salary of the petitioner as usual and if any arrears of salary are payable, they are directed to be released forthwith.

A perusal of the record discloses that the petitioner had attained the age of superannuation and the cause in the writ petition may not survive. In view of the interim orders and also the fact that the petitioner had attained the age of superannuation, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
