This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to take steps to mutate the names of the newly elected Office bearers of the petitioner-Society in the records, pursuant to the General Body Meeting held on 19.04.2008.

When the matter came up for admission on 18.04.2008, this Court while issuing Rule Nisi, passed interim order directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.02.2008 submitted by the petitioner-Society within a period of two weeks. Now when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner placed on record letter dated 24.05.2008 issued by the Commissioner & Inspector General of Registration and Stamps, Musheerabad, to the petitioner informing him that on account of the fact that there are some internal disputes among the members of the society with respect to the affairs of the society, the petitioner shall seek redressal as per Section 23 of the A.P. Societies Registration Act, 2001 before appropriate forum.

In as much as the relief in the main writ petition has been granted by way of interim direction and pursuant to the same, the 1st respondent had made an order, while leaving it open to the petitioner to agitate its grievance, if any, before the appropriate forum, the writ petition is closed.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
