The present writ petition is filed questioning the inaction of 4th respondent-Station House Officer, Medipally, Hyderabad, in investigating into the Crime No.522 of 2019 dated 14.08.2019 and taking action against the respondents 5 to 8, as being illegal and arbitrary.
Heard Sri Rapolu Bhaskar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the official respondents 1 to 4. The learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dated 31.12.2019, submits that upon registering the case, vide Crime No.522 of 2019 of Medipally Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 427, 506 read with Section 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 on 14.08.2019, the respondent police authorities took up investigation and examined LWs.1 to 4 and recorded their statements. Notice under Section 41-A (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code was issued to the accused persons on 10.09.2019. Thereafter, investigation into the above crime was completed and charge sheet was filed before the III Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B. Nagar on 22.09.2019 and the case was also numbered as C.C.No.5986 of 2019 and is pending for trial.
Having regard to the fact that the respondent authorities have completed the investigation into the case and laid the charge sheet before the concerned Court, whereupon the case was also numbered as C.C.No.5986 of 2019, the claim of the writ petitioner that the respondent police authorities are not investigating into the crime No.522 of 2019 of P.S. Medipally is incorrect. Since the grievance of the writ petitioner stands redressed, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ___________________ T. VINOD KUMAR, J Date: 23.01.2020 Isn
