This writ petition is filed under Art.226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:

" Issue Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of "Writ of Mandamus", declaring the action of the Respondents 2 and 3 in illegally and forcefully collecting 50% of the Tuition fee collected in respect of management quota seats as additional fee as being illegal, arbitrary and without any Jurisdiction or authority and declare that the Respondents 2 and 3 have no authority or jurisdiction to insist upon such additional fee in respect of management quota seats and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 3 to forthwith adjust the said amounts towards affiliation or any other fee payable by the petitioners or refund the said amounts to the petitioners." 2.

A perusal of the material available before this Court discloses that the petitioners herein for redressal of their grievance submitted representation dated 23.01.2017 to the 2nd respondent. According to the learned counsel for petitioners no action has been taken on the said representation submitted by the petitioners till date and a request is made by the learned counsel for petitioners to direct the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with law on the said representation by fixing some time frame.

In view of the above circumstances and having regard to the nature of controversy, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing

the 2nd Respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 23.01.2017 submitted by the petitioners herein within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. The miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
