Petitioner was appointed as Post Graduate Teacher in Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society. He was posted to Bhongir in Yadadri District in the year 2009 and has been working in the said post. His wife is working as Secondary Grade Teacher in Mandal Praja Parishad School at Ramachandrapuram in Bhongir Mandal. She is now transferred to Rekya Tanda in Suryapet District. Petitioner applied for transfer by placing reliance on the clause for accommodation to an appropriate place on spouse ground. But, without considering the said request, petitioner is now transferred to Armoor in Nizamabad District. Petitioner claims that this is not one of the places he opted and, in fact, one of the places he opted is not granted to him. Requesting for suitable accommodation and modification of the earlier transfer, petitioner submitted representation to the Secretary of the Society on 06.07.2018 and also to the Hon'ble Chief Minister on 14.07.2018. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed.

Prima facie, it cannot be said that there is deliberate inaction in considering the representation made only on 06.07.2018. Moreover, in proof of submission of representation, acknowledgement is not filed. Furthermore, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is on leave.

However, on instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to report in the place of posting and requests for posting at a nearer place i.e., Thipparthi, which is still vacant.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Secretary of the Society to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his representation, dated 06.07.2018, if it is already received by him, and to pass appropriate orders as warranted by law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
