Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, for respondents.

The petitioner's grievance is that though an extent of Acs.5.00 of land in Survey No.1192/2 of Nannur Village, Orvakal Mandal, Kurnool district was assigned to him under the ex-servicemen quota by the then 3rd respondent on 20.01.2005, subsequently the 3rd respondent allotted the same land to certain third parties depriving the petitioner of using the said land.

On 01.08.2016, this Court requested the 1st respondent to look into the matter, and do justice to petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, the 1st respondent filed a counter-affidavit on 01.09.2016 stating that on his instructions the respondents nos.2 and 3 re-surveyed, block-splitted and formed new Survey Numbers.1421/3 of extent Acs.3.13, Survey No.1422/14 of extent Ac.1.87; that the said land was identified and possession of it was handed over to petitioner on 31.08.2016 in the presence of adjacent ryots; and that petitioner accepted the same and was satisfied with the sub-division work made and boundaries shown to him, and copies of sub-division record and combined sketch showing his land were also handed over to petitioner.

The Court places on record its appreciation for the assistance of 1st respondent in the matter to do justice to an ex-serviceman who has served the nation.

Since the petitioner's grievance is thus satisfactorily redressed, the Writ Petition is closed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
