O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioners is that respondents 4 and 5 - police authorities, are calling the petitioners to the police station regularly and harassing them.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of the Sub Inspector of Police, Ramgopalpet Police Station, stating that on 02.07.2018, the police received complaint from one M.Sai Kumar stating that his wife Smt. Jhani, who is working as Staff Nurse at Mahavir Hospital, staying at Girls Hostel, was missing. In the complaint it is stated that on 30.06.2018, the complainant along with his wife were scheduled to go to his native place Dornakal and that he came to railway station and waited for his wife. But her phone was switched off and she did not come to railway station. Hence, he enquired in the hostel, where she is staying and that he came to know that she left from the hostel on 30.06.2018 at 19.00 hours and did not come later.
Therefore, he requested the police to take necessary action. Based on the said complaint, woman missing case in Cr.No.151 of 2018 was registered and investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation, the respondent police found a letter written by one Katti Sayanna, in which he stated that he was going along with his girl friend, who is the missing woman in the above said crime. Hence, the respondent police enquired the matter with his parents.
petitioners herein. Except that, the respondents never called the petitioners to the police station as alleged. Recording the above statement, writ petition is disposed of. It is made clear that life and liberty of the petitioners, shall not be interfered with, except by following due process of law. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
