THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.40263 OF 2014 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 & 8.

The prayer sought for in the writ petition is as under: " to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.2 as illegal and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondent No.2 not to interfere into the civil disputes pending between the petitioners and the respondents 3 to 5." The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 & 8 placed on record the written instructions dated 07.01.2015 issued by the 2nd respondent herein. It is stated in the written instructions that the 4th respondent lodged a complaint on 22.12.2014 leading to registration of Crime No.462 of 2014 for the offences under Sections 509, 323, 506 r/ w 34 I.P.C. Simultaneously, the 1st petitioner also lodged a complaint on the same day i.e. on 22.12.2014 leading to registration of Crime No.

463 of 2014 for the offences under Sections 509, 506 r/ w 34 I.P.C. and in both the crimes, investigation has been taken up. During the course of investigation, the police have visited the scene of offence and that the said visiting of the scene of offence and other steps pursuant to the investigation does not amount to interference and harassment as alleged by the petitioners.

In the light of the above instructions furnished by the 2nd respondent herein, no further orders are required in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
