The learned counsel for the appellant filed letter dated 19.03.2018 seeking withdrawal of the appeal, on the ground that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties, to the effect that the appellant-husband shall pay an amount of Rs.5,50,000/ - towards full and final settlement to the respondent-wife. 2.

The learned counsel for the appellant also filed Xerox copies of the Demand Drafts showing payment of Rs.2,75,000/ - (Rupees Two lakhs seventy five thousand only) and Rs.2,75,000/ - (Rupees Two lakhs seventy five thousand only), vide D.D.No. 921821 drawn on Andhra Bank, Maruthi Nagar Branch and D.D.No. 236050 drawn on State Bank of India, A.P. High Court branch respectively. 3.

Recording the payment made and having regard to the fact that the parties have settled the matter by way of compromise, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. The parties shall approach the appropriate court in terms of the settlement entered into, vide memo dated 16.08.2017. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, stand closed.
