ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed assailing the seizure of 117.25 quintals of rice belonging the petitioner pending disposal of the proceedings under Section-6A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act'). At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (Telangana State), on instructions, submitted that the proceedings under Seciton-6A of the Act initiated against the petitioner have been disposed of pending the Writ Petition.

In the light of the above submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.

As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition,
