HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.No.2120 of 2015 ORDER :

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'the CrPC') by the Petitioner-accused to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.501 of 2012 on the file of XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchal, taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 498,420 and 506 of I.P.C.

2) Perused the compromise affidavit and joint memo filed by the petitioner in Crl.P.M.P.No.6905 of 2015 seeking permission to compound the offences and also another petition in Crl.P.M.P.No.6906 of 2015 to quash the proceedings.

3) Both the parties present before the Court and stated that they settled the claims between them amicably and the intention of compounding the offences is to purchase peace. Accordingly permission is accorded to compound the offences in view of their compromise.

4) Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings in C.C.No.501 of 2012 on the file of XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchal, are quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioner, if any, shall stand cancelled.

5) Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
