THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.44278 OF 2016 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to close the rowdy sheet opened against the petitioner. 2.
Case of the petitioner is that he is working as a Carpenter; that he was implicated in several false cases for which, a rowdy sheet was opened against him by respondent No.2 in the year 2010; that he was acquitted in all those cases and as on today, no case is pending against him and hence, prays to give a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to close the rowdy sheet opened against him.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that in an earlier occasion, the petitioner approached this Court by filing W.P.No.3983 of 2012 and the same was disposed of by this Court directing the petitioner to file an application before respondent No.2 herein and accordingly, the petitioner has filed an application and the same is not yet disposed of by respondent No.2 and aggrieved over the same, he filed this writ petition and hence, prays to direct respondent No.2 to close the rowdy sheet against him.

Even though the petitioner filed an application before respondent No.2, it does not contain the date on which it was
submitted before him. Considering the same, the writ petition is disposed of with the following direction:
The petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before respondent Nos.2 and 3 for removal of his name from the rowdy sheet and on filing of such a representation, respondent Nos.2 and 3 shall dispose of the same in accordance with law, especially, Standing Order No.601 of the A.P. Police Standing Orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
