THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.25734 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "... to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring that the action of the respondents in not allowing the 12 years Special Grade/Stagnation Increment to the petitioners with effect from their completion of 12 years of service rendered in Shramik post in the respondent Corporation and without proper pay fixation w.e.f. their completion of 12 years of service in their post as bad, arbitrary, illegal, unjust and discriminatory and consequently direct the respondents to effect or count the 12 years Special Grade/Stagnation increment to the petitioners with effect from their completion of 12 years of service in their Shramik post in Respondent Corporation and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper." 2.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for Telangana State Road Transport Corporation submit that the subject matter of the Writ Petition is similar to W.P.No.14127 of 2017, which was disposed of by order dated 20.04.2017. The said order reads as under: "... Having regard to the earlier orders of this Court, this Writ Petition is also disposed of directing the respondent - Corporation to consider the claim of the petitioners for grant of Special Grade/Stagnation increment on completion of 12 years of service by computing the total period of service rendered by them, without reference to the regions in which services were rendered and if they are eligible, the shall be granted to them. There shall be no order as to costs."

Following the order dated 20.04.2017 in W.P.No.14127 of 2017, this Writ Petition is also disposed of directing the respondent

- Corporation to consider the claim of the petitioners for grant of Special Grade/Stagnation increment on completion of 12 years of service by computing the total period of service rendered by them, without reference to the region in which services were rendered and if they are eligible, the same shall be granted to them. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
