THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.25100 OF 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:

to issue a writ, order or direction and more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 5th Respondent in seizing lorry bearing No.AP 05 TA 9349 and the rice as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction, unjust, null and void and consequently direct the Respondents to release the lorry and the rice to the Petitioner."

When the matter is called, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents that the vehicle has already been released. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that even though the respondents have released the vehicles, stocks have not been released so far.

3. In view of the above submissions, writ petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioner herein to the approach competent authority for redressal of his grievance with regard to release of stocks.
