THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.29117 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise.

The grievance of the petitioner herein is that, despite the application, dated 30.08.2017, filed for release of the subject vehicle before the second respondent, the second respondent herein is not taking any action so far. A copy of the said application dated 30.08.2017 is placed on record by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application, dated 30.08.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
