THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.8632 of 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of the fourth respondent in issuing letter No.PDS/3/ST.II/2015-16 dated 16.03.2015 to the fifth respondent.

A perusal of the impugned order shows that a notice was issued to the fifth respondent for payment of security deposit and filing of bank guarantee pursuant to his success in the tender for transportation of essential commodities under Stage II i.e., from MLS Point, Nellore to the door steps of FP shops for the year 2015-16, while issuing proceedings on 16.03.2015 in favour of the petitioner, extending the period of contract upto 30.06.2015 or upto the appointment of new transport contractor for the year 2015-16. In view of the award of the contract in favour of the fifth respondent and the expiry of the earlier extended period of contract by 30.06.2015, the cause of action in the present writ petition does not survive.

In the above circumstances, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
