Tumpati Sreenivasa Rao v. State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.16574 OF 2011 DATED: 22.06.2015 Between:
Tumpati Sreenivasa Rao .. Petitioner And State of Andhra Pradesh, Rep. by its Home Secretary, Government of A.P., Hyderabad, and others.
.. Respondents THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.16574 of 2011 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed alleging inaction on the part of the police authorities in investigating Crime Nos.24 of 2011 and 52 of 2011 registered on the file of the Jangareddigudem Police Station, West Godavari District, and taking necessary consequential action. The Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Jangareddigudem Police Station, furnished written instructions dated 11.06.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that Crime No.24 of 2011 was registered under Sections 427 and 447 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. while Crime No.52 of 2011 was registered under Section 324 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. on the file of the Jangareddigudem Police Station, West Godavari District, on the complaints made by the petitioner. However, while investigation was in progress in the said crimes, the parties were stated to have compromised their disputes before the village elders and the same was brought to the notice of the police authorities. In view of the same,
the F.I.Rs. were said to have been closed.
In the light of the afore-stated developments, the grievance of the petitioner as to the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities in investigating the subject crimes no longer survives for consideration.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
