THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.7741 OF 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in crime No.59 of 2015 on the file of V. Madugula Police Station, Visakhapatnam, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 r/w 34 IPC.

The second respondent filed a complaint before the police. Based on the report, crime was registered and final report was filed. But, on receipt of notice, a protest petition is filed and based on the protest petition, the Magistrate ordered further notice. Learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh submits that, pursuance to the directions issued by the Magistrate, the police commenced investigation and examined as many as four witnesses and as further investigation is required to be completed, seeks one month time to complete investigation and file report.

Sri Pratap Narayan Sanghi, Learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to direct the Investigating Agency to complete investigation within one month.

Acceding to the request of both the learned counsel for the petitioners, as well as learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh, the first respondent/Investigating Agency is directed to complete entire investigation and file final report positively within one month from today.

MSM,J CrlP_7741_2018 With the above observation, the criminal petition is disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall also stand closed. No costs.
