THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.19343 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the action of respondent no.1 issuing abnormal property taxes with fines in spite of Pending LRS Application No: LCR021600015058, dated 31.03.2016 and threatening to disconnect power supply and water supply and harassing the petitioner to dispossess from her house by sending his employees to her house frequently and threatening to dismantle the building and disconnect water supply and power supply is arbitrary, illegal and consequently direct respondent No.1 not to harass and threaten and pressurize for the payment of abnormal property taxes with penalty till the conversion of the land (LRS Application No. : LCR021600015058) is completed in the interest of justice."

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to direct respondent No.1 herein to consider the representation, dated 04.04.2016, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, respondent No.1 is hereby directed to consider the representation, dated 04.04.2016, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as

possible. Till disposal of the said representation, respondents are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
