THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 23266 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner joined the services of respondent No.1-Corporation as a Driver on 18.05.1981.

Thereafter, he was promoted as Controller and further promoted as TI-Grade-II. He retired on 30.04.2016 on attaining the age of superannuation. He states that he is entitled to payment of gratuity, leave encashment and salary for the month of April, 2016. He submitted a representation on 28.05.2016 to respondent No.2-Depot Manager, TSRTC, Hanamkonda Depot. Since there is no response, he got issued a notice through his counsel on 17.06.2016, but in vain. Hence, the present writ petition is filed. Even after issuing notice before admission on 15.07.2016 and posting the case after four weeks, there is no response from the Corporation.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.05.2016 followed by notice through his counsel, dated 17.06.2016 and pay the outstanding amounts due to him consequent to his retirement, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
