HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.25811 OF 2018 ORDER :

Aggrieved by the action of the 1st respondent in granting stay in proceedings bearing R.Dis.C5/M/249/2014, dated 20.01.2018, in cancelling the social status of the respondents 5 and 6 and in continuing the 5th respondent in government service, this Writ Petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents 5 and 6 filed appeal against the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in R.Dis.No.C5/249/2014, dated 20.01.2018, the 1st respondent, has grated stay on 15.03.2018 in Memo No.1138271/CV.1/2018, without hearing the petitioner. He submits that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal within a stipulated period. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the respondents 5 and 6, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity hearing to the both parties.

There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
