HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.12070 of 2015

ORDER

This criminal petition under sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioners-A1 and A2 seeking to grant bail in connection with Cr.No.F.No.DRI/HZU/48D/ENQ-6(INT-NIL)/2015 of the Senior Intelligence Officer, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 22,25,28 and 29 of NDPS Act.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/A1 and A2 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. It is alleged that on 28.07.2015 the Directorate of Revenue Officials have inspected the factory premises of M/s.Nekkantis Labs and found A1 and during the course of search they found 121.29 Kgs of Alprazolam worth Rs.24,25,800/-.

4. Since the contraband seized from the possession of the accused is a commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners/A1 and A2.
