The petitioner filed writ petition for cancellation of sale deed bearing document No.2795/2016, dated 22-07-2016 stating that he has agreement of sale over the subject property. For which, the petitioner has remedy under Specific Relief Act (for short "the Act"). Instead of availing the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. Since it is stated by learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue that the petitioner has remedy under the Act, I find no ground to entertain the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
