This Writ Petition is of the year 2007. For the past several occasions, on one pretext or the other, the Writ Petition has been undergoing adjournments. On 01.09.2016, when there was no representation on behalf of the parties, the case was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Today, Sri N. Sri Rama Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner appears and submits that he has no instructions in the matter.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand dismissed.
