Heard.

The petitioner complains of interference by respondent police particularly the 3rd respondent with regard to pressurizing him to settle the dispute with his estranged wife.

The petitioner states that he got married to Smt.Sravani on 2607-2012. However, there appears to be a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and his wife after a female child was born to them on 22-04-2013.

The petitioner is stated to have filed F.C.O.P.No.1587 of 2013 before the Family Court, Ranga Reddy District, seeking restitution of conjugal rights on the ground that his wife has allegedly deserted him. While the said F.C.O.P. is pending before the Family Court, the 3rd respondent is alleged to have called the petitioner on 07-11-2014, 16-11-2014 and 23-11-2014 and threatened him to settle the dispute with his estranged wife and the petitioner was allegedly made to sit in the police station whole day and let off only in the evening. Complaining the said action of the 3rd respondent in detaining him in the police station and pressurizing him to settle the dispute with his estranged wife, without there being any complaint against him, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

The instructions received by the learned Government Pleader show that the F.C.O.P. filed by the petitioner is pending. However, the petitioner's allegation of harassment and pressurizing him to settle the dispute with his estranged wife is denied. It is categorically stated that as on the date of instructions i.e., 21-01-2015, no case is registered against the petitioner. However, it is stated that as and when any complaint is received against the petitioner, appropriate action will be taken against him.

It is evident from the above that no complaint is registered

against the petitioner and as such, the question of 3rd respondent interfering with the matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and his wife, which is a subject matter of the F.C.O.P. referred to above, does not arise.

In the circumstances, therefore, the aforesaid specific instructions that no complaint is registered against the petitioner and that the petitioner was never harassed are recorded. Hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
