O R D E R

5th respondent is the wife of the writ petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondents 3 and 4 - police authorities, are interfering with civil dispute and forcing the petitioner to settle the dispute with the unofficial respondent No.5, by withdrawing the suit filed by him in O.S.No.30 of 2018 pending on the file of Principal Senior Civil Judge, Kadiri. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Dharmavaram stating that the 5th respondent filed a complaint on the file of Station House Officer, Dharmavaram and the same registered as a case in Cr.No.357 of 2016, and after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed and case in C.C.No.25 of 2017 is pending on the court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Dharmavaram. The allegations of the petitioner with regard to interfering with civil dispute and forcing him to withdraw the civil suit, are denied.

Recording the above statement, writ petition is disposed of. However, it is needless to observe that police authorities shall not interfere with the civil dispute, or with the life and liberty of the petitioner, except by following due process of law.
