Seeni Satyanarayana S/O Gopalam v. State Of Andhra Pradesh Revenue (Land Acquisition)

HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.15220 OF 2006 AND WRIT PETITION No.14530 OF 2006 COMMON ORDER:

These two writ petitions are being disposed of by this common order as they relate to acquisition of land pursuant to notification issued on 1.7.2006 for providing house sites to weaker sections. This Court granted interim stay of dispossession, as a result of which, possession of the land could not be taken. Now, when the matters are taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader produced before this Court the instructions issued to him stating that in view of the stay granted by this Court they identified alternative land in an extent of Ac.17.76 cents in RS No.554/1 relating to Indukuri Soma Raju, Chikkala Manikyamaba and nine others of Duvva Village of Tanuku Mandal, West Godavari District, and in view of the acquisition of alternative land the acquisition proposals entrusted to the land covered by the present writ petitions are dropped. Recording the statement of the learned Government Pleader with regard to dropping of the land acquisition proceedings in respect of the lands covered by the present writ petitions, both the Writ Petitions are closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in both the writ petitions shall stand closed.
