THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.1818 of 2015 ORDER:

The contempt case is filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 06.03.2015 passed by this Court in W.P.No.5563 of 2015.

The specific assertion of the petitioner in the present contempt case is that the incumbent Tahasildar, Karimnagar Mandal has failed to process the application of the petitioner, submitted in Form VI (A) on 17.11.2013, under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (in short "ROR Act"), within a period of four months as directed by this Court. A counter affidavit is filed by the respondent stating that the application of the petitioner stands rejected on the ground that one Sri Mididoddi Srinivas, S/o Hanmaiah, Velichala Village of Ramadugu Mandal has issued a legal notice stating that the suits bearing O.S.Nos.594 of 2012 and 590 of 2012 have been filed and the same are pending. The said aspect was informed to the petitioner through Memos dated 28.02.2015 and 30.09.2015. Inasmuch as, the application filed by the petitioner under ROR Act stands disposed of by passing orders, this Contempt Case is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to workout the remedies in accordance with the ROR Act.
