This petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.") to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.404 of 2018, on the file of II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Machilipatnam.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/accused and learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh representing the respondent-State. Perused the material on record. 3.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner expressed his intention to file a petition for discharge of the petitioner before the Court below.

In view of the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Criminal Petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to file a petition for discharge before the Court below. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
