2017-04-12Challa Kodanda Ram2 pages

HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 12858 of 2017 ORDER:

The petitioners submit that the location of wine shop of respondent No.4 at D.No.31-2-11, Suryanarayanapuram, Kakinada, East Godavari District, would cause nuisance to women folk and others by the drunkards, and even students would face inconvenience on account of unruly behaviour of customers visiting respondent No.4 shop especially on account of liquor being allowed to be consumed in permit room. Bringing all these aspects, petitioners claim to have made a representation dated 27.03.2017 to respondent No.2. As the said representation has not been considered, the present Wit Petition is filed.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 27.03.2017 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
