HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 7143 of 2003 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not regularizing the services of the petitioner as Teacher in the 3rd respondent college, as arbitrary and illegal.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that similar issue fell for consideration in W.P.Nos.6163 of 2003 and 7701 of 2002 and this Court, vide orders dated 22.09.2004, disposed of the said writ petitions directing the Government to consider the proposal submitted by the Society for regularization of the services of the contract teachers against existing vacancies by suggesting a formula or scheme and such a decision may be taken within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and the decision may be communicated to the Society so as to avoid unnecessary hardship to the teachers employed on contract basis, and prayed that similar orders may be passed in the present writ petition also.
Learned counsel for the respondents has not disputed the orders passed by this Court in the above mentioned writ petitions. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of, in terms of the order dated 22.09.2004 passed in W.P.Nos.6163 of 2003 and 7701 of 2002.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 6th September, 2018 cbs
