THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.6900 OF 2008 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the rejection of the objections filed pursuant to a notice under Section 10(1) of the Urban Land Ceiling Act. The order is dated 01.03.2008.

Immediately thereafter, with effect from 27.03.2008, the Repealing Act came into force and in view of the same, all the proceedings under the Urban Land Ceiling Act stood abated. In the instant case, the possession was also not taken. Hence, the Repealing Act is applicable and the respondents are restrained from taking any further proceedings against the petitioners pursuant to the provisions of the Urban Land Ceiling Act.
