Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. With consent of the counsel appearing for both sides, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

Since this Court is not going into the merits of the case, issuing notice to respondents 5 to 7 may not be necessary. The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"to issue a Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 3rd respondent in disposing of the ROR Appeal No. Ref.C/ROR/Gen/11930/1/16 dated 05-03-2016 filed Under Section 5B of ROR Act, 1971 filed by the petitioner against the proceedings of the 4th respondent Ref. D/677/2015 dated 14-12-2015 and grant of pass books and title deeds in favour of the unofficial respondents in respect of land admeasuring an extent o Ac.27-50 cents in Sy.No. 99, 100, 101 and 102 situated at Valu Tirunapuram village, Peddapuram Mandal, East Godarari District as illegal and arbitrary, and violative of Principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct the Respondent No.3 to consider and dispose of the said appeal within reasonable time." 4.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction for disposal of the Appeal No. Ref.C/ROR/Gen/11930/1/16 dated 05-03-2016, which is

CPK,J WP_35696_2016 pending before the 3rd respondent i.e., the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kakinada.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that if the said appeal is still pending, suitable direction may be given to the concerned authority to dispose of the same.

Having regard to the submissions made, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the ROR Appeal No. Ref.C/ROR/Gen/11930/1/16 dated 05-03-2016 filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
