This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of respondent Nos 2 and 3 in not taking action in pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 21-07-2018. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that the respondent-police have received complaint through registered post on 25-07-2018 and G.D.entry was also made on the same day. It is stated that the complaint of the petitioner was enquired into and found that a civil dispute is pending between the petitioner and his family members vide O.S.No.45 of 2018 on the file of VII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vijayawada. It is also stated that earlier on the complaint lodged by the wife of the petitioner, a case in Cr.No.341 of 2015 was registered and after investigation, the case was referred as 'False'. That wife of the petitioner also lodged another complaint and case in Cr.No.178 of 2018 was registered on the same set of facts and the same is pending investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner says that the petitioner has made complaint dated 21-07-2018 with fresh cause of action.

In this case, it is admitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been received by the respondent-police. As such, the 3rd respondent is directed to take appropriate action on the said complaint in accordance with the guidelines laid

down in the Apex Court judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1, if not already followed. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
