THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO.30857 OF 2017 ORDER:

1.

The limited grievance of the petitioners in this Writ Petition is that though a request is made to mutate their names in the revenue records and to issue pattadar passbooks through online mode, so far no action has been taken. In continuation to the request made, representations dated 06.06.2017 and 16.08.2017 were also made to the Tahsildar to that effect. 2.

If what is stated is true and no decision is taken so far, the Tahsildar (second respondent) is directed to examine the claim of the petitioners by following due process of law as required under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattedar Pass Books Act, 1971 and communicate the decision to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
