Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner, though working as Conductor, was assigned other duties. It was valid till 28.07.2018. Before the said date of expiry, petitioner made representation on 16.07.2018 requesting to continue to assign other duties instead of posting her as Conductor due to her health conditions. Alleging inaction on the representation and the time granted was expired, this Writ Petition is filed.

When the matter is taken up, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Corporation submits that since representation was already made by petitioner, a direction be issued to the respondent - Corporation to pass orders on the said representation.

On 27.07.2018, this Court, while granting adjournment at the request of learned Standing Counsel, directed the respondent - Corporation to continue the petitioner in Bodhan Depot on out of designation basis for a period of two weeks.

Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Managing Director, TSRTC, to consider the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in her representation dated 16.07.2018 for continuation of her service on out of designation basis and pass

appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The petitioner shall be continued in Bodhan Depot on out of designation basis till such decision is taken. There shall be no order as to costs.
