This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of respondent No.5 in filing final report in Cr.No.59 of 2018. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on written instructions submits that investigation was done in Cr.No.59 of 2018 and the same was found to be 'civil in nature' and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Peddapuram granted permission on 28-07-2018 for referring the case as 'civil in nature'. It is stated that on 30-07-2018 the Investigating Officer concerned served notice on the complainant and a copy of the notice served on the petitioner is also filed. It is stated that final report is being filed in the concerned Court. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedies available to him. No order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
