HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.26840 of 2006 ORDER:

The inaction of respondents, in paying compensation to the petitioners' lands submerged under Sarvaraya Sagar Project, is questioned in the writ petition as being illegal and arbitrary.

During hearing, learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that compensation amount has already been paid to the petitioners and, therefore, no further orders need be passed in the writ petition.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
